Chelsea will be looking to make it four wins in four Europa League games as they face BATE. LiveSoccerTV's match preview provides team news, head-to-head analysis and global broadcast listings for BATE vs Chelsea.

Current form: BATE vs Chelsea

Chelsea come into this game having beaten Crystal Palace 3-1 at the weekend, which takes the Blues to second place in the table. Maurizio Sarri's side are still unbeaten in Premier League action so far this term, and that impressive run extends to their first ever Europa League group stage campaign as well. In fact, save for a 2-0 defeat to Manchester City in the Community Shield, Chelsea have not lost a single game this season.

Thus, despite the fact that their upcoming opponents BATE were recently crowned champions of their domestic league, Chelsea will naturally be feeling confident about their chances at making it a fourth straight win in the Europa League. After all, they swept aside the Eastern European outfit 3-1 at Stamford Bridge without much fuss, and although traveling all the way to their opponents' home ground certainly is no easy feat, the Blues are expected to come away with another win in hand from this clash. BATE's sole win has been on the road, and they have yet to win a home game this season.

Current position: BATE vs Chelsea

Chelsea are clearly in cruise control as they sit on top of Group L, but when this quartet was announced, that should hardly be a surprise. Maurizio Sarri has wisely rotated his squad for all three of his side's games in order to keep everyone healthy for for both competitions, and certainly as Chelsea do progress to the knockout rounds he will face a tougher balancing act as their opponents will get much tougher once the round of 32 kicks off next year.

The Blues already have one foot firmly into the round of 32 and will be looking ahead to who some of their opponents will be, which could include the likes of Lazio, Sevilla, Eintracht Frankfurt, Bayer Leverkusen, and AC Milan. In addition, there will be some further additions coming in from the Champions League, and with some of the quartets containing three top teams like PSG, Napoli, and Liverpool in one group, or Inter, Tottenham, and Barcelona, in another, and Juventus, Valencia, and Manchester United in a third, things indeed will be quite interesting by the time the group stages ends in December.

Team news: BATE vs Chelsea

Chelsea have opted to include Eden Hazard as part of their travelling party, with Sarri hoping to have the Belgian star feature in some capacity in order to help him regain some match fitness. Hazard has been strugging with a back injury following Chelsea's 2-2 draw with Manchester United last month and as such has missed the team's last three games, but featured as as sub against Crystal Palace last weekend.

Cesc Fabregas, meanwhile, was supposed to feature, but misses out due to illness. As a result, N'Golo Kante has been called up in his stead. Although he appears to have regained some of his form and confidence, Alvaro Morata has not been included in the squad for the trip to BATE's home ground, and other absentees for the visitors include David Luiz, Antonio Rudiger, and Marcos Alonso.
