Karim Benzema reached a career milestone with his goal vs Viktoria Plzen in Wednesday's Champions League game.

Real Madrid forward Karim Benzema scored twice in the first half of his side's Champions League game with Viktoria Plzen on Wednesday. The former Lyon star simultaneously reached a career milestone of 200 goals as a Real Madrid player.

Benzema, who already has a goal in the European competition, led the slaughtering inside Plzen's Doosan Arena by getting the game's first goal in 20 minutes. The French found the back of the net following an excellent solo effort.

With Casemiro grabbing Los Blanco's second, Benzema tripled his side's advantage with a headed goal eight minutes away from first-half. The Frenchman topped his night's performance by assisting Gareth Bale for the Whites' fourth goal of the night before half-time.

Having now accumulated 200 goals, Karim Benzema currently poses as the seventh player to have achieved such a feat in the history of Real Madrid. He joins Cristiano Ronaldo, Raul Gonzalez, Alfredo Di Stefano, Ferenc Puskas, Hugo Sanchez and Carlos Santillana on the illustrious list.
