Mario Balotelli seems to have recovered from his injury in time to be included in the Manchester City squad but the major suprise inclusion is Michael Johnson.
Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has named a very strong squad with Tevez and Balotelli included. Considering that Tevez has only started two of the games in the competition so far, his inclusion really sends out a statement of intent from Roberto Mancini.

However, the major surprise is the inclusion of Michael Johnson in the squad to face Aris. The 22 year old midfielder has not played for the club since October 2009 but could now be given the chance since James Milner and Nigel De Jong are both out injured.

Meanwhile, Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart believes that the Europa League tie gives them a real chance to bounce back from the agonizing derby defeat to Manchester United.

"It's deflated us a bit, but you've got to pick yourselves up and move on," Hart said.

"You can't give up. If you're going to do that then there's no point in turning up every week. We are here to win games, do well for Manchester City and push the club on. That's not changed.

"We are still in the hunt for trophies, and we want to make it happen. The derby has gone. It's unfortunate that we lost, but we have to brush ourselves down and carry on. We've got the Europa League and the FA Cup as well as the Premier League to focus on."
