Kylian Mbappé's snub from PSG's lineup against Olympique Marseille raised a few eyebrows, mainly because the Frenchman has proven to be one of the best footballers for Les Parisiens this season. Following their 2-0 win in Sunday's clash, coach Thomas Tuchel admitted that he was forced to drop Mbappé from the lineup, since he did not make it in time to the team's hotel prior to the game.

"It was caused by disciplinary reasons. I felt a bit disappointed by it, because we don't like to play without either Mbappé or Rabiot, but it had to be done and that's why we made that call," Tuchel said.

After listening to Tuchel's words, footage featuring Gianluigi Buffon, Kylian Mbappé and Lass Diarrá ahead of the game made even more sense, as the veteran goalkeeper did not hold back when giving the rising French star some words of advice. 

The Italian goalkeeper spent almost two minutes having words with the talented striker, who kept a straight face during Buffon's monologue. Surely, Buffon's leadership skills came in handy, as Mbappé came on during the second half to solve the game for Les Parisiens.
