Die Mannschaft will have to beat the Netherlands and wait for France to beat the Oranje in order to avoid relegation in the UEFA Nations League.

Germany has always been considered as a reference in the world of football, but with two months left in the year, Die Mannschaft may be eager to see the end of 2018 and start fresh.

Joachim Löw's men completed one more disastrous performance against France, a team that came from behind to defeat the Germans with a brace by Antoine Griezmann. The team seems to be on a downward spyral, and if that was not enough reason to worry, this generation of German footballers has tarnished the legacy of the national team for good.

Tuesday's loss against Les Bleus was the sixth in the year for Germany, a number of losses that Die Mannschaft had never recorded in a single calendar year. Two of them were rather heavy losses! Remember which ones?

To make matters worse, Germany has only been able to win three out of their 13 matches this year, with only one of them coming in a competitive match.

The German side is third in Group A1 of the UEFA Nations League. In order to keep their spot in the top tier of this competition, Die Mannschaft will have to beat the Netherlands during their last group game, but even that would not be enough to save their pride if the Dutch side beats France in their UNL game set to take place on November 16.
