Canada vs USWNT will receive live coverage in both English (Fox Sports 1) and Spanish (Univision Deportes) in the United States. Head to head results, TV and streaming channels in our CONCACAF Women’s Championship final match preview.

What is the current form of the USWNT compared to Canada's women's national soccer team?

It's been a one-sided affair in this tournament with the finalists clearly standing out above their opponents. 2015 Women's World Cup hosts Canada and defending champions USA are the joint-highest scoring teamsin the 2018 CONCACAF Women's Championship.

For the Canadians, a massive 17 goals in the group stages, 12 of which were knocked in against the Cubans in Edinburg with Adriana Leon and Jordyn Huitema bagging quadruples, saw them qualify from Group B with ease. Gloriana Villalobos' 73rd minute consolation strike for Costa Rica on Matchday 3 somewhat tarnished the Canadians' defensive record but Leon's brace in the first semi-final clash applied pressure on their rivals to catch up and this is exactly what the Americans did.

Hours after Canada's women's national soccer team trounced Panama 7-0 to hit a 24-1 goals record in the championship, the U.S. launched six bullets against the Jamaicans to match the 24-goal tally.

Meanwhile, the USWNT hold another record – this time, exclusively: they are the only team yet to concede in the 2018 CONCACAF Women's Championship.

2018 CONCACAF Championship final: players to watch

It's definitely the duel between Canada's Adriana Leon and USA's Alex Morgan. Both strikers are on six goals each and are poised to emulate or break the achievement of 2014 CONCACAF Championship topscorer, Abby Wambach (7 goals).

However, that's not the only individual clash to watch out for. The Best Player from the previous edition, Carli Lloyd, will want to stamp her authority as a legendary veteran against the intimidating strength of Canada's captain, Christine Sinclair, who has found the net consecutively in the last three fixtures. Despite being 35, the latter is still winning the fight to compete in her national team's First XI. The same cannot be said of her counterpart.

At 36 and under the management of Jill Ellis, Lloyd has seen her playing time reduced. This is not entirely negative, though, for the playmaker who could embrace the role of a supersub on the field and a leader in the dressing room. She was an unused substitute against Jamaica and has started only one game in the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup qualifying, putting in only 158 minutes out of a possible 360; that's not even half of the maximum minutes she could get.

Nevertheless, the two-time Olympics gold medalist boasts a hat-trick from Matchday 2, and her experience could make the difference between both sides on Wednesday night in Frisco.

USWNT vs Canada final on Social Media

The Americans have their eyes set on winning their fourth World Cup trophy and commencing the campaign by defending their CONCACAF Women's Championship crown is their first objective. The #OneNationOneTeam campaign is making waves on social media with professional teams across various sports flooding Twitter with congratulatory messages upon the USWNT's qualification for France 2019.

Canadian support seems more humble but the will to lift the trophy on Wednesday is very much present.
