England's National Team made the race to win Group A4 of the UEFA Nations League a bit tighter after beating Spain at Benito Villamarín Stadium. The Three Lions also managed to end years of dominance by the Spanish side, which resulted in several of Spain's positive streaks coming to an end during Monday's clash.
A woeful first half by Spain's defense saw Raheem Sterling and Marcus Rashford giving Gareth Southgate's men a three-goal lead after 45 minutes. Through balls, well-placed finishes and a bit of luck saw Sterling earn a brace, which was followed up by Rashford's goal. These goals were Sterling's first goals for England in over three years while embarrassing Spain's defense like never before.

England's loss practically dooms Croatia's chances of avoiding relegation to League B in the UEFA Nations League. A draw between both sides would be enough to see The Three Lions playing in League A in the nexr edition of this competition.
