Los Blancos' season resembles a train wreck, and Florentino Pérez seems ready to splash cash to shift the tide.

It has been a while since the last time in which Real Madrid truly spent a lot of money in a winter transfer window, but the team's recent results will force their boss to splash cash in order to keep the team's chances of success in all competitions alive.

In the past couple of days, several reports coming in from Spain suggested that Los Blancos were plotting a move to sign Eden Hazard. With the player denying a winter transfer away from Chelsea yesterday, president Florentino Pérez will make a move to sign three players, with two main targets already being mentioned by Spanish outlet Don Balón.

The first move Florentino Pérez is plotting is none other than a striker, with Mauro Icardi being the team's primary target. The player's buyout clause would be decisive to make this transfer, compared to other options. Icardi has been one of the best footballers for the neroazzurri, which could complicate the player's possible transfer.

The second move would involve signing a left back. The team's main man knows that Marcelo will not be around forever, and the need to sign a proven left back is palpable. Ricardo Rodriguez had been linked to the job previously, but there are other names in Pérez's agenda at the moment.

The last move being plotted by Florentino Pérez would involve bringing Brazilian youngster Rodrygo ahead of time. Santos' footballer was expected to stay with the Brazilian club until the end of the season, but his arrival would give Julen Lopetegui more options up front. Once he turns 18 years old (on January 9), he will be cleared to join Los Blancos.
