The Belgian ace gave a candid talk in which he opened up about Los Blancos and his Stamford Bridge future.

Eden Hazard has opened up about the issue that is his Chelsea contract. While rumors linking the Belgian ace with a move away from Stamford Bridge have cooled down as of late, the player's recent remarks will put Real Madrid on alert.

The 27-year-old has long been rumored to be on Florentino Perez's radar. Furthermore, the summer departure of Cristiano Ronaldo led many to believe that the Spanish would break the bank and land their target.

The former Lille ace ended up remaining in London, however, and has begun the season extremely well with the Blues. He currently leads the Premier League Golden Boot race thanks to his seven goals in eight games, but the attacker admits that he hasn't stopped thinking about a Bernabeu switch.

However, although he admits to still dreaming about donning a Blancos jersey, he doesn't want to follow in the footsteps of Thibaut Courtois. Eden merely admits to being torn between his current team and the club he has dreamt about since his childhood.

“I don't want that,” the Belgian is quoted as saying by the Telegraph. “I want what's good for me, but I want what's good for the club because the club has given me everything. I don't want to say, ‘yes, I am signing a new contract’ and then in the end I don't end up signing.

“In my head, sometimes I wake up in the morning and think I want to go. Sometimes I think I want to stay. It is a hard decision. It is my future. I am 27 and I will turn 28 in January,” said Hazard who is conscious that he may have only one big move left in his career. “That's why I spoke after the World Cup and I said that I think it is time to change because I played a great World Cup.

“I am playing good football at the moment. Real Madrid is the best club in the world. I don't want to lie today. It is my dream since I was a kid. I was dreaming about this club. I don't want to talk about this every day. I don't have time but we will talk about my future soon. I think so.”

While Hazard's choice of words leaves the door open to both a Chelsea stay and a Real Madrid move, rumors will link him with the reigning Champions League holder. No Galactico was signed over the summer by Lopetegui. The addition of Eden would improve his squad and possibly ease the pressure on the Spanish tactician, if he is still around by January or next summer.

There were enough positives from Hazard's candid talk that could convince Chelsea that he will stay. He continues to speak highly of Maurizio Sarri, who has helped the former Lille sensation score more for the Blues. All they must do now is sell him on signing an extension.
