The Croatian midfielder capped quite an effort by Philippe Coutinho, who kept the ball in play after a missed chance by Suárez.

Ivan Rakitic will certainly remember tonight's game against Tottenham fondly for two reasons. First off, the Croatian midfielder scored an impressive goal for Los Blaugranas just when they needed it the most. With that goal, he entered the team's record books by scoring their 600th goal in this competition.

Rakitic's goal came after Luis Suárez failed convert a chance inside Tottenham's box. The ball almost left the pitch, but Philippe Coutinho kept the ball in play with a massive effort. The Brazilian, who scored the game's opening goal, assisted Rakitic with this spot-on pass, and Rakitic's finish was simply delightful.

Barcelona joined Real Madrid and Bayern as the only clubs to score 600 games in the UEFA Champions League.
