The Belgian superstar made this vow ahead of Saturday's home clash with Klopp's table-toppers.

How many times have we seen Eden Hazard humiliate opponents to score a goal and celebrate by sliding on his knees? Fans were treated to this spectacle when the Belgian ace scored a stunning winner in the 2-1 League Cup victory over Liverpool, but that might have been the last we have seen of the celebration.

Speaking ahead of the rematch against the Reds, the Chelsea ace promised that he would retire the knee-slide move. His followers might be disappointed, but the attacker had a logical explanation for this.

"Look, look, the celebration - the sliding knee. I need to stop this," he explained, as per the Sun.

"My knees - they are on fire! No more of this celebration."

Regardless of how he chooses to celebrate his future goals, the 27-year-old will likely continue finding the back of the net in stunning fashion as he did at Anfield on Wednesday. Hazard nutmegged two Liverpool players before firing the ball past Alisson in the 85th minute to send Klopp's men home and the Blues into the fourth round of the Carabao Cup.

On Saturday, these two teams will lock horns once more, this time in the Premier League. Sarri's side will welcome the table-toppers to the Bridge with the aim of winning and ending their opponent's perfect start.

They've done it once and they could do it again, but Chelsea will need their number 10 to be at his best once again. He has contributed to seven goals in the English top-flight so far this season, scoring five and assisting two to keep the London giant unbeaten.

Stopping the Belgian from wrecking havoc could be the key for Liverpool. Klopp argues that his team won't focus on Hazard, but failing to nullify the former Lille sensation could result in a first defeat in 2018/19 for Salah and Co.
