Los Pepineros had never been able to steal one point away from Los Blaugranas, but things finally worked out for them today.

All good streaks must come to an end, but Barcelona's unbeaten run when facing Leganés couldn't have ended in a worst time for Messi and Co.

Los Blaugranas were not able to hold on to their first-half lead against Leganés, giving way for Nabil El Zhar and Oscar Rodríguez's goals that sealed the deal for Los Pepineros. That second goal came after a blatant mistake by Gerard Piqué, who "assisted" Rodríguez while trying to clear the ball from his box.

Los Blaugranas hadn't lost any games played in the community of Madrid in almost four years. Their last loss came against Real Madrid in October 2014, extending that streak for thirteen games. Unfortunately for Los Culés, that streak ended today to jeopardize their first place in La Liga.

This victory will give Leganés' footballers one more reason to celebrate.
