The legendary footballer seemed to be quite happy in his return to the sidelines, as Dorados de Sinaloa pummeled Tapachula 4-1.

After more than a week, Diego Maradona had his day as Dorados de Sinaloa's new coach. The Argentinean legend didn't disappoint, as his men went on to win their first match of the season against Cafetaleros with a 4-1 score.

Maradona was quite active on the sidelines, motivating his footballers and protesting whenever he felt the ref was not being fair with his decisions.

A hat-trick by Vinicio Angulo made things easier for the team during their new coach's debut, especially since all the goals came during the second half.

Then, a late goal by Jesús Escoboza sealed the deal for the Sinaloa-based team. Diego didn't hesitate in hugging his player to celebrate

After the final whistle, all the crew struck a pose with their manager.

And then, there was this video posted on social media by Maradona's players.

"With Maradona holding our hand, this crew will end up doing the victory lap"
