The Brazilian right back had a word with his compatriot to try to put an end to all the criticism he's been subject to since the World Cup.

Dani Alves admitted that there was something wrong with the way Neymar was behaving, and he was sure to let him know about it in a heart-felt chat both men had after the World Cup.

The right back spoke right after PSG's new kit was unveiled today, revealing that he asked his compatriot to change after what other people were saying about him.

When one or two persons say something, maybe they have their own agenda. But if a lot of people are saying the same thing, then there's got to be something wrong. When that sort of thing happens, it's time to re-invent yourself, to improve. It's ok, because we're flawed human beings. Smart people realize when they need to evolve, and Neymar is really smart," Alves stated.

The former Barcelona and Juventus man admitted that some critics took massive digs against his compatriot, but all those words surely made Neymar willing to improve.

"In some cases, people were unfair, but these things help you grow up. They make you be more professional. When things are not going as planned, that's when you have to step forward.

Alves hinted that Neymar's behavior may suffer a radical change, especially because of all the criticism and mockery he faced after the World Cup.

The blows he's taken will help him change his general behavior. He will stop acting like a child and he will take it like a man. When you make your own decisions, you stop being so self-centered, I'm sure he will be a better footballer after this," Alves concluded.
