Neville urges Man Utd to sell Pogba

Manchester Utd legend urges club to sell 'unconsistent' Pogba

September 13, 2018 By Oscar Rojas
Former right back Gary Neville voiced his complaint about Pogba's recent attitude, which has him desperate for a transfer away from the Red Devils.

One more Manchester United legend has come up to ask Paul Pogba to show more professionalism in his second stint at Manchester United, and this time, the former footballer didn't leave any stone unturned when aiming a dig at the French footballer.

Former right back Gary Neville joined the likes of Paul Scholes and Rio Ferdinand in their criticism on Pogba, and blasted away due to the player's "mercenary" attitude. Speaking in an interview with The Times, Neville revealed what he would say about the matter if he was talking about it on camera, only to compare it to his feelings as a fan moments later.

"Neville the pundit on Pogba would say, 'He's a talented player but I want to see more consistency and leadership,'. As a fan, honestly, part of me is that no one is bigger than the club and I am not interested in people who are looking left and right," Neville stated.

The former pundit has been a harsh critic of Mourinho's term as Man Utd boss, but this time, he seemed to stand by the Portuguese coach.

Then, Neville added a few words he'd like to say to Pogba if he was still in the team's locker room.

"So Paul, if you want to go play somewhere else, let's make that work for you because Manchester United will be fine, don't worry about that," Neville added.

Continuous reports link Pogba away from Manchester United every week. Only time will tell if the team decides to part ways with the footballer or if they want the massive investment made to sign him pays off.
