El Tri and La Celete face off in what should be an interesting friendly match set to be played in the United States.

México and Uruguay lock horns in an interesting friendly match set to be held in Houston.

Both sides will enter this match in different circumstances when it comes to their squads, since Mexico's most-recognizable players have asked not to be called up for this game. On the other hand, Uruguay will have the same men that played in the FIFA World Cup, with only a couple of exceptions.

Regarding their coaches, both teams will enter this clash with interim managers. Ricardo Ferretti will coach El Tri for a second interim term in the last three years, while Fabián Coito will take over as Uruguay's boss. Uruguay's boss Oscar Tabárez is yet to reach an agreement to extend his contract with the Uruguayan Federation, forcing Coito to take his place while he negotiates.

El Tri will have goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa and strikers Raúl Jiménez and Hirving "Chucky" Lozano as their most recognizable players. Following the retirement of some of their prominent players, adding absences from some of the team's leaders, coach Ferretti felt inclined to call up young players that have worked properly in Liga MX games. Roberto Alvarado and Diego Láinez should be two players to keep an eye on.

As for Uruguay, coach Coito decided to call up the same players that performed for La Celeste in the 2018 World Cup. The two main absences for the South American side include Edinson Cavani and Giorgian de Arrascaeta, who picked up injuries prior to the celebration of this game.

This clash is set to take place at NRG Stadium, located in Houston, Texas.
