The player born in Málaga wished his former team-mate all the best, despite leaked rumors about a complicated relationship between them.

One of the players that's expected to play a bit more with Real Madrid spoke his mind after Cristiano Ronaldo's departure from the team. Talented playmaker Isco shared his views on how the team has adapted to CR7's exit, and even hinted that the team has made the most out of his absence.

Isco's words point out a major gap in CR7's playing style, since he didn't contribute to the team's defensive duties as much as they would expect, and that's the main reason why Los Blancos are thriving without their all-time top scorer after three games.

"We are playing more like a team now. There are players that struggled last year, but now they are scoring lots of goals. Right now, I'd say we don't miss him, but the season has just started. Let's hope we can keep this form. If we start losing, we will obviously tell you we miss him, but let's hope that's not the case," Isco said.

The former Málaga ace was said to have a complicated relationship with the Portuguese ace, mainly because CR7 wanted Marco Asensio to take his spot in the lineup. Isco tried to settle those claims by praising the player's skills.

"Cris is an extraordinary player, he guaranteed the team at least 50 goals per season. All I can say is that I wish him the best of times at Juve," Isco added.

Isco is expected to play for Spain against England, in what will be the first UEFA Nations League match for both sides.
