Real Madrid's successful campaign for the third year in a row saw them claim all the individual trophies.

UEFA decided to reveal the Best players in each position for last season during the UCL draw, and Real Madrid fans can once again call themselves tall over the rest of European teams.

Los Blancos had seven nominees out of the 12 spots, and completed a clean sweep of all individual trophies.

The first trophy to be handed out was the award for the Best Goalkeeper, which went to Keylor Navas.

Next, UEFA awarded Sergio Ramos as the Best Defender of the 2017-18 campaign. This category was dominated by Real Madrid footballers, as Ramos beat Marcelo and Raphael Varane to the prize.

The award for the Best Midfielder of the season went to Luka Modric, who capped an amazing season with this award and by reaching the FIFA World Cup final.

The award for the Best Forward of the 2017-18 campaign went to none other than Cristiano Ronaldo. The Portuguese ace decided not to attend the gala, maybe as a sign of not wanting to be linked anymore with his past as a Real Madrid player.

The UEFA Womens' Player of the Year Award went to Pernille Harder, who dedicated the prize to her children. Due to her professional commitments, she couldn't attend the gala.

Lastly, the UEFA Mens' Player of the Year Award went to Luka Modric, who became the first Croatian footballer to win this award.

The player dedicated this trophy to his father, who he thanked for motivating him to become one of the most praised footballers in the world.
