The north London side heads to the Theatre of Dreams in search of a win, but history is not on their side.

Monday brings the game all Premier League fans have been waiting for in round three. With all but one of this matchweek's games having been played, the only remaining tie is Man United vs Tottenham.

This game has extra importance as failure to win would set off alarms at Old Trafford. After their embarrassing 3-2 loss at Brighton, Jose knows anything but victory would do little to pour water over the current chaos.

Fortunately for the Special One, Spurs has an atrocious away record against the Red Devils and this has little to do with the fact that Man United has not lost any of their last 22 clashes with a London club at home. No, this has to do with the fact that Tottenham and Old Trafford have spelled disaster for the north London side.

Tottenham at Old Trafford in the Premier League

Played: 26

Lost: 21

Drawn: 3

Win: 2

Tottenham has lost more games at the Theatre of Dreams than any club has lost at an away ground in Premier League history. However, the awful numbers don't stop there.

While Tottenham is the last London team to win at Man United in the top-flight, but that victory came back in New Year's Day 2014. That was also the last time Spurs scored at Old Trafford.

However, Pochettino's men have started the season with back-to-back wins. Form appears to be in their court, not Man United's, meaning ending their wait for an away win against the Red Devils is a possibility.
