Saturday is set to be a very interesting double header for Serie A fans, as the second big game of the day will feature Napoli taking on AC Milan.
The Rossoneri are only beginning their season after their first game was cancelled due to the Ponte Morandi collapse in Genoa, while Napoli come into this game having come back from a goal down to beat Lazio 1-0 in Carlo Ancelotti's first official game in charge.
There will be plenty of interesting sub-plots taking place behind the scenes. For starters, it will be the first time Ancelotti faces his former side Milan, where he won two Champions Leagues among a host of other trophies back in the noughties. In addition, Gonzalo Higuain will be taking on his former side since signing on loan with Milan from Juventus earlier this summer. The Argentinian attacker has developed an interesting knack for scoring against the Partenopei and will certainly relish the opportunity to do it yet again on Saturday evening.
Having secured the services of Higuain, Milan will be determined to have a better season after failing to crack the top four last term despite splashing the cash. However, their rivals have grown even stronger, and given that the Diavolo have not beaten the Partenopei in Naples in nearly eight years, it goes without saying that the visitors will face an uphill battle against last season's second-best side.
