Liverpool forward Dirk Kuyt has backed calls for Kenny Dalglish to be installed as the manager on a permanent basis at Anfield.
Kenny Dalglish has been a major revelation at Anfield since taking over on a temporary role from Roy Hodgson. He has made a major impact on the player’s confidence and Dirk Kuyt believes that their results show why Kenny should be given the job on a permanent basis.

"I think if you only look at results and the mood of the players, I have to agree with them," Kuyt told Sky Sports News.

"He's installed a lot of belief and he told us we are all quality players and that he is here to help us. He's a legend, not only to the fans but to the players. Obviously he has helped me a lot as a striker.

"I am really happy with Kenny. So far it's really positive for us.

"It has worked well with him but also with Steve Clarke. Everything looks much better and that is really positive for us."

Dirk Kuyt has followed the call from Steven Gerrard and Jamie Carragher for King Kenny to stay and all Anfield faithfuls will be hoping that King Kenny does stay at the end of the season.
