Real Madrid files complaint against Inter for Modric pursue

The Spanish giants are not satisfied with the way in which the neroazzurri side tried to lure the player away from the Bernabeu.

Real Madrid will not tolerate other teams trying to lure their players away, and they have reportedly filed a complaint against Inter Milan for their attempt to sign Luka Modric earlier this month.

Inter Milan tried to sign Modric away from the Bernabeu by reportedly offering him a $12M deal for the next four seasons. Added to that, the Chinese group that owns Inter would have provided Modric a two-year deal to play in China, extending his contract with the group for six years.

A FIFA spokesman revealed Real Madrid filed a complaint earlier today, in an attempt to prevent a late offer for the player's services, mainly because the transfer window for Serie A teams ended today.

Florentino Pérez has reportedly offered Modric a similar deal at Real Madrid, but the player's agents have claimed that the Spanish giants will have to deal with a new offer from the Italian side, since Modric wants to play for the Serie A side "sooner or later".
