The French forward has finally broke his silence after his club manager questioned his attitude.

The harmony between Jose Mouriho and Anthony Martial appears to lessen with each passing day with the war of words between the pair refusing to die down. Following Manchester United's 4-1 thrashing in the friendly against Liverpool the Portuguese manager, frustrated by his side's poor pre-season campaign, lashed out at his players as well as the club for the lack of signings.

One among the many personnel who were not immune to the manager's criticism was Anthony Martial. The 22-year-old winger had departed camp in the United States to be with his wife who recently gave birth to their son but had his attitude and commitment questioned by Jose Mourinho after failing to return early.

Following Manchester United's 2-1 win over Real Madrid in the club's final preseason game, the former Chelsea manager stated that he had no idea if Martial will ever join the rest of the team in Manchester. Reports on Wednesday claim that the Red Devils have prepared an 180,000 pound fine to be paid by Anthony Martia for prolonging his stay.

The winger has since revealed on Twitter that he will be making the trip back to Manchester on Thursday. The former AS Monaco starlet then aimed a slight dig at his manager by emphasizing that he puts family above anything else.

His tweet translates from French to English as follows: "Thank you all for your posts. My little Swan is fine, for the mum it was harder but thanks to God she's better now.

"Sorry but my family will always come first... Back tomorrow in Manchester."

With the fallout between him and Mourinho evidently at its peak, it remains unclear whether the 2016 Golden Boy will have any active role to play for the Old Trafford outfit this season should the club retain its stance to deny him a move out.
