PSG and Atletico Madrid will meet at Singapore's National Stadium as the International Champions Cup resumes action on Monday. The match between Les Parisiens and Los Rojiblancos will kick off much earlier for New York based fans, with a start time expected at 07:35 EST. For those based in France and Spain, kick-off will be during the lunch hour, or at 13:35 CET.
It's been a tough start to life with the Ligue 1 giants for veteran shot-stopper Gianluigi Buffon, and the 40-year-old, who left Juventus earlier this summer, will be hoping to put on a better showing as Les Parisiens aim to bounce back from their 5-1 humiliating loss to Arsenal last weekend.
That marked the second straight loss for Thomas Tuchel's side, who also succumbed to a 3-1 defeat to Bayern Munich, meaning that PSG has conceded a whopping eight goals in just two games. With the Ligue 1 season starting in just two weeks' time, Tuchel will be aiming to see a much stronger performance from his side in order to build up some positive momentum ahead of their title defense.
If Tuchel is certainly disappointed with his team, the same can not be said with Atletico Madrid's Diego Simeone. Despite missing star man Antoine Griezmann, Los Rojiblancos managed to edge out Arsenal after a penalty shoot-out. It was not a convincing performance from the capital club, but it was still enough to earn Atleti its first win of this current competition and the La Liga runners-up will certainly aim to heap more misery on a PSG side who have still yet to find its footing.
