24 hours ago, it seems like Roma had everything in place to reveal Malcom as their new player. Fans were even waiting for the elusive wingman at Ciampino Airport in Roma, and a press conference was scheduled to take place later today. But then, Barcelona got in the way and swooped the talented footballer away from the Giallorossi.

Less than an hour ago, Barcelona revealed that Malcom has agreed to join them on a five-year deal. While details on his wage and bonuses were not disclosed, the team revealed that any team that wants to lure Malcom away from Camp Nou will have to trigger a $467M buyout clause (400 million euros).

The player will join the club on their U.S. tour once he undergoes the routine medical examination.

Roma fans blast Barcelona after player swoop
