Hazard drops massive hint about his future club

Eden Hazard drops massive hint on alleged Real Madrid move

July 14, 2018 By Oscar Rojas
The Belgian ace didn't hold back when being asked about his future as soon as his performance in the World Cup concluded.

After a summer full of transfer rumors that included his name, Eden Hazard has finally stepped up to say if he wants to stay at Chelsea or if he wants to search for other employment opportunities.

While he tried to easen the impact of his words, Hazard's desire to leave Chelsea should come as no surprise, since he has been adamant about his desire to play in La Liga, especially for Real Madrid.

"After six wonderful years at Chelsea, it might be time to discover something different. Certainly after this World Cup. I can decide if I want to stay or go, but Chelsea will make the final decision. If they want to let me go, you know my preferred destination," Hazard told reporters in the mixed-zone.

The Belgian ace, who collected one more Man of the Match award as the Red Devils defeated England, shared insight on how Chelsea's footballers were not surprised by Maurizio Sarri's appointment as Chelsea's boss, even if he might not get to work with him at all.

"We knew already for a while that Sarri was going to become the new manager. If he's a good manager? If he lets me win trophies, yes. Dries Mertens has told me he's a good coach. We'll have to work hard, the "Italian way". But we're used to that with Antonio too," Hazard added.

Hazard's words may be music for the ears of Real Madrid fans, as the club dismissed yesterday any chance of making a bid to sign Neymar. Only time will tell if the Belgian ace will join Los Blancos, but his clear intention as of now is to bid farewell to the fans at Stamford Bridge.
