The Spanish television network has been blowing viewership records out of the roof with its World Cup coverage.

After racking up impressive viewership numbers during the group stages of Russia 2018, Telemundo Deportes is at it again. According to Nielsen and Adobe Analytics, the sports network sets viewership records on 67% of matchdays from the group phase through to the quarter-finals.

With the digital presentation already the biggest live stream sports event in the history of Spanish-language coverage, the numbers had another 11% increment in viewership. An Average Minute Audience (AMA) of 200,000+ viewers was recorded as a result.

Telemundo Deportes has also been tuned into by almost 55% of the U.S. Hispanic population. It has already exceeded the 32.2 million Spanish-language reach for the World Cup in 2010 tournament with approximately 35 million views throughout the quarter-finals.

14.4 million unique users have also generated a record-setting 125 million live streams and 1.87 billion live minutes viewed from the group-stage to the last 8.
