Teams are gearing up for probable tactical switches as some key players will be amiss in the upcoming clashes.

With yellow cards now wiped out per the regulations of the tournament, no player is prone to being suspended for the final unless sent-off. Now, assessing the scenario by game basis, Paris Saint-Germain wing-back Thomas Meunier will not be able to represent Belgium when they take on France at Saint-Petersburg on Tuesday.

The 26-year-old picked up a second yellow card for a foul on Neymar in his side's 2-1 quarter-final victory over Brazil. He will, however, be eligible to play in the final should his teammates defeat France.

Les Bleus, on the other hand, has very little to worry about in that respect and only has the side boosted by the return of Blaise Matuidi. The Juventus midfielder missed the quarter-final meeting with Uruguay after accumulating two yellow cards.

For the other game between England and Croatia, both teams will have all their players at their disposal for selection. Nonetheless, Jesse Lingard, Kyle Walker, Jordan Henderson and Ruben Loftus-Cheek would all have been ineligible to feature for the Three Lions had they picked up bookings against Sweden in the previous game.

In the fitness department, there is no news of injuries from any of the camps of France, Belgium and England so far. For Croatia, the inclusion of both Danijel Subasic and Ivan Strinic is yet to be known after the pair picked up injuries in the extra-time of the quarter-final win over Russia.
