Following Brazil's 2-0 win over Mexico in the FIFA World Cup, the Brazilian ace took a dig at El Tri's footballers, who according to Neymar, stepped over the line trying to motivate themselves
Prior to the game, Mexico's players shared messages on social media with a clear message: they had beaten A Canarinha before, and they would try to do it once again. After today's result, Neymar replied to those motivational messages with an unnecessary dig.
"Mexico is a good team, but they talked too much before the game, now they have to pack their bags and go home," the player stated.
Brazil heads into the Quarter Final stage as one of the only previous champions in the competition. On the other hand, El Tri will have to cure their wounds back home, perhaps with a new coach at the helm.
