The Colombia winger refused to spill the beans on what his country has in store for the Teranga Lions.

Juan Cuadrado has issued a stern warning to his compatriots ahead of their crunch encounter with Senegal on Thursday. Both his side and the West Africans aim to progress to the knockout phase and a draw will ensure safe passage for the latter although Los Cafeteros will require a win to sail through.

Jose Pekerman's men come into the upcoming game boosted by the 3-0 win over Poland in their previous outing. While addressing the press, Cuadrado – who scored in the last fixture – asserted that his side would have to cautious of Senegal’s pace and technical ability and further hinted at a plan being put in place to curb the threat of the opponent.

"We have to be careful because they are a great team," he declared.

"Not only do they run - they're also very good technically.

"The last [few] days, we have been working to see what is the best plan to go and find the best result.

A win for Colombia over Senegal will set up a Round of 16 clash with either Belgium or England from Group G.
