Juventus has completed the signing of Joao Cancelo from Valencia.

Both clubs have confirmed the Portuguese full-back has joined the Serie A champions after successfully completing his medical on Wednesday. In a statement released by the Bianconeri, Cancelo has signed a five-year deal with the fee involved just over 40 million euros.

"Juventus Football Club S.p.A. announces that the agreement with Valencia Club de Futbol SAD for the definitive acquisition of the registration rights of the player João Pedro Cavaco Cancelo has been finalized for a consideration of €40.4m payable in three financial years.

"This acquisition will generate economic and financial effects starting from 2018/2019 sportive season. "Juventus and the player have signed a five-year contract of employment until 30 June 2023."

Cancelo makes a U-turn to Italy after playing on loan at Inter Milan for the whole of the 2017-18 season. The Nerrazuri had the option to buy the full-back but refused to activate the clause. The 24-year-old helped the San Siro outfits to a Champions League spot and made a total of 26 appearances.
