A hard earned 1-0 win over Italy in the playoffs secured a first World Cup appearance for Sweden after they failed to qualify for the last three editions. Janne Andersson men have been tipped as second favorites alongside Mexico in Group F, with Brazil being slapped with the tag of potential group winners.
Nevertheless, it will take the Europeans more momentum than they have gathered so far as they've had a rather unimpressive build-up campaign to Russia 2018. Sweden, despite being undefeated in their last two games, have failed to register a win in their last four matches.
