The current European champions will bid farewell to their fans against a team that has struggled to find its form in 2018.

It's always a good thing to have a full squad to choose from, and coach Fernando Santos will have that possibility on Thursday, when Portugal meets Algeria in A Seleçao's last warmup match before the beginning of the 2018 World Cup.

The Portuguese squad will enter the tournament as one of the favorites to win it, since they will defend their crest as UEFA Euro champions.

Coach Fernando Santos will have Cristiano Ronaldo around for this game, following the player's vacation period after winning the UEFA Champions League. His presence will come in handy to a team that has struggled to score goals this year (only two in three games)

Facing the Portuguese side will be Algeria, led by Leicester City's Riyad Mahrez and Islam Slimani. The team coached by Rabah Madjer has only been able to win one of their four international games this year, following their disappointing performance in the 2018 World Cup Qualifiers, where they finished fourth in Group B.

This game will be held at Estadio Da Luz in Lisbon. The aforementioned venue can accomodate up to 65,647 fans.

Did you know...? This will be the first-ever game between Portugal and Algeria.
