Arsenal superstar Samir Nasri is expected to miss the Gunners’ games against Everton in the Premier League and against FC Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League due to a hamstring injury.
Nasri is reported to have obtained his wound at the weekend while playing against Huddersfield Town in the FA Cup. It is still not confirmed until when Nasri will have stay away from the pitch, but Arsenal Coach Arsene Wenger is already irritated by the situation.

"Nasri looks to have a serious hamstring injury," he said. "Usually it is three weeks (out of action, but) we have to see if it is a grade one because that can be two (weeks).

"It is a big blow... How big? I do not know because the results in the future will tell, but it is a big blow.

Being asked upon Nasri’s availability in mid-February against Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League’s Round of 16, Wenger opted to push the fans to reality. He admitted: “I think yes, (he will miss the match)."

It nonetheless appears that the injury could have been prevented through a right decision from the Arsenal manager himself, prior to his game against Huddersfield Town. Arsene Wenger confessed that a mistake he made proved to be irreversible, and absolutely costly.

"I have regrets now, because the plan was first to play Rosicky, but he was still too weak because he was sick," he stated. "So I took the gamble on (Samir) Nasri, and it backfired."

Arsenal will play four games from now till February 16; with Everton being their first opponents of the year’s second month. They will then welcome Spanish champions FC Barcelona at the Emirates two weeks after; but probably, they will be compelled to face Barca without the likes of their precious Samir Nasri.
