The Argentinean coach spoke candidly to Radio Marca about Los Blancos' interest in luring him away to La Liga.

FReal Madrid's need to sign a top-rated coach after Zidane's resignation is a well-known fact, and even if he's been named as one of the potential candidates for the job, Mauricio Pochettino hasn't held any contact with Florentino Pérez or any other Real Madrid exec.

Speaking in an interview with Radio Marca, Tottenham's boss pledged loyalty to Spurs, even if he has always stated that coaching Real Madrid would be "a dream".

"I haven't received a phone call from Real Madrid," Pochettino emphatically stated. "I don't like to talk about rumors, I'm happy coaching Tottenham, I just extended my contract with the club, and talking about another team, even if it's Real Madrid, isn't good for anyone. It would also be disrespectful to Tottenham," the coach added.

Pochettino also clarified if he had included a release clause in his new contract.

"No, there's no clause of that sort in my contract. We didn't include anything like it,"the coach admitted.

Despite showing respect for his current club, Pochettino hinted that the possibility of coaching Real Madrid would be interesting.

"In the end, we know that these kind of rumors are usual in the world of football. We'll see what's in store for us in the near future," Pochettino concluded.
