Zinedine Zidane will want to keep his rivals guessing, but the team's leaders have asked for a particular lineup.

Zinedine Zidane seems to be pretty sure on which players he will field from the start in the UEFA Champions League final, and two of his captains helped him put his Starting XI together.

According to a report by Diario Gol, Sergio Ramos and Cristiano Ronaldo made Zidane some suggestions regarding which players should begin the game, and it comes as no surprise, but the BBC attack will not be included in that plan, at least in the first minutes of the game.

The report suggests that Zidane is keen on keeping control of the game in midfield, which would not be the case if Bale, Benzema and Ronaldo started the game. So, with that in mind, Zizou would choose to field four players in midfield, sending Bale to the bench.

With that in mind, Real Madrid's lineup would be: Navas; Dani Carvajal, Sergio Ramos, Varane, Marcelo; Casemiro, Modric, Kroos, Isco; Benzema, Cristiano Ronaldo.

Isco's presence in the team's lineup came as a direct request from CR7 and Ramos, as both feel that he could help create more chances in the first 45 minutes. Lucas Vázquez, Gareth Bale and Marco Asensio would be the main options for Los Blancos if they need to change into a more attacking formation.

According to the Spanish media outlet, Benzema's spot in the lineup was a petition from Cristiano Ronaldo, since the Portuguese ace feels that he benefits more from Benzema's ability to create gaps in the opponent's defense.

If this turns out to be true, Real Madrid would field the same lineup that destroyed Juventus during the 2016-17 final in Cardiff last year. Good omen for Los Blancos? Don't miss Saturday's clash!
