Liverpool has a few reasons for wanting to beat Brighton in their final game. Maintaining their unbeaten run at home this season is one of them, but the biggest reason is to ensure a Champions League spot.
Klopp’s men are only two points ahead of fifth-placed Chelsea, so a draw should suffice given their superior goal difference. Victory will be sweeter as it will see the Reds end the season on a high and head into the Champions League final with confidence.
Mohamed Salah, who is aiming to become the first player to score 32 goals in a 38-game Premier League season, is the man to watch. He hasn't found the back of the net in three games in all competitions, but the Egyptian remains a deadly goal scorer.
Adam Lallana could make his return on the final game of the season. A hamstring injury has kept him on the sidelines since March but the Englishman has been in training for a week and could feature.
Brighton has no fresh injury worries ahead of their Anfield trip. Steve Sidwell has not featured all season and will miss this fixture as well, but the likes of Jurgen Locadia and Beram Kayal are pushing for a start.
