The French midfielder nabbed the award for the second time this season, beating Ander Herrera and Alexis Sánchez for April's trophy.

opSeems like the hard times are over between Jose Mourinho and Paul Pogba, as the French midfielder thanked the Portuguese boss for his trust during last month's games, which earned him Manchester United's Player of Month award.

Pogba and Mourinho weren't on the best terms for a couple of months, as Mourinho's decisions to leave the player on the bench in crucial ties warned about a problem between them. Furthermore, Pogba's future at Old Trafford was seriously questioned, with a transfer away from the club was discussed prior to his rise in form.

Now, all problems seem to be in the past, as Pogba referred to Mourinho as a source of trust.

"It's good that the manager believes in you, and the players. I’m very happy. I would like to thank everybody that voted for me," Pogba told Premier League Productions, as per Man Utd's website.

The player looked back on how the season went down, revealing how he feels this season has been better than the last one. "I had a big injury and missed a lot of games, but now I feel much better. And I've been proving it with more assists. I'm not hitting the crossbar and the post like last season, so I'm happy. I've been involved in a few goals so I'm pretty happy," Pogba added.

Pogba will try to lead Manchester United to one more trophy this weekend, as the Red Devils prepare to face Chelsea in the FA Cup final.
