A draw at Roma in the next league game will virtually seal the Scudetto for Juventus.

After a hard-fought campaign and with Napoli consistently being a nuisance to their league title ambition, the Bianconeri could clinch the Serie A title when they travel to Rome on Sunday. The Old Ladies currently sit atop the league log with 91 points – six points more than the Partenopei.

While the team will be extending and celebrating its record of successive title wins, five other players in the set-up will also be going home with a similar recognition. Interestingly, four of such make up the backline of the Turin club. Goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon, center back pair, Giorgio Chiellini and Andrea Barzagli, as well as fullback Stephan Lichtsteiner, have been key entities and the backbone of Juventus’ almost impenetrable set-up over the years.

The list is completed by veteran midfielder Claudio Marchisio. The academy graduate has also been an integral part of the Biaconeri’s success story since returning from a loan move to Empoli back in 2008. He is currently in line to assume to the role as the club captain should Buffon hang his boots at the end of the season.

Leonardo Bonnuci would have been the sixth player had he not made his move to AC Milan last summer.
