Both Zinedine Zidane and Ernesto Valverde will have a couple of headaches when they plan their lineups for Sunday's game.

With the La Liga season coming to an end, both Real Madrid and Barcelona coaches will have to deal with tired players or even injured ones when they prepare Sunday's clash.

Barcelona's boss has an easier job, since he could be missing only one player. Nevertheless, there are some out of form players among Barcelona's squad that could be dropped from the Blaugranas Starting XI.

As for Real Madrid, coach Zinedine Zidane has reason to worry. Up to three players are out due to injuries, and with the UEFA Champions League final coming, the French tactician can't afford to lose more players. While some thought he'd rest players for this game, the thoughts of ending Barcelona's unbeaten streak and saving a bit of their pride after their 3-0 loss in December force him to think that option twice.

Barcelona's unavailable players

Andres Iniesta

The man who is expected to receive massive praise in his last El Clásico may have to do so from the stands, as he has struggled with a calf injury all week. Being his last match against Real Madrid, he may end up making a cameo appearance from the bench in order to end his Clásico history on a high note.

Real Madrid's unavailable players

Isco

The talented playmaker will most certainly miss this game due to a shoulder injury. His spot on the pitch could be handed to Marco Asensio or Lucas Vázquez.

Dani Carvajal

The Spanish right back was subbed off during the first leg of the UEFA Champions League semi-final against Bayern due to a problem in his left thigh. Achraf Hakimi and Nacho are his potential replacements.

Raphael Varane

The latest injury concern for Zidane is none other than his compatriot. Varane ended the second leg against Bayern with a calf problem, and he now faces a race against time to play in the UCL final on May 26.

Out-of-form players

There's a difference between being left out of a game due to an injury and being left out due to your poor performance throughout the season. Here are a couple of players that could miss this game after failing to match expectations this year.

Ousmane Dembele

True, an injury held Dembelé back for the first half of the season, but he's yet to make an impact with Los Blaugranas, and some are starting to think that his high-priced transfer was a waste of money. He may be limited to a cameo role on Sunday.

Gareth Bale

With injuries as his main issue, the former Spurs man has failed to impress Zidane, and his appearances as a sub haven't been memorable. It would be surprising to see him earning a starting spot on Sunday, and it would be even more surprising to see him continue with Los Blancos once the season comes to an end.
