The Argentinean footballer also detailed his relationship with Neymar, and how their UCL exit damaged their relationship with Emery.

Even if he's been one of the best players for PSG this season, Angel Di Maria could see the end of his stint with Les Parisiens.

It's not his relationship with Neymar or the general direction the team is steering to, but the former Real Madrid and Manchester United player feels that the club is keen on cashing in on his fame to comply with UEFA's Financial Fair Play rules.

In an interview with France Football, Di Maria admitted that he could leave the club this summer, even if his contract ends after the 2018-19 season.

"Football is really strange. I'm really happy here, but the club needs to sell players in order to bring some more over here," Di Maria stated.

The skillful footballer also detailed his frustration after being left on the bench by Emery during the first leg of their UEFA Champions League match against Real Madrid.

"He(Emery) didn't explain his decision. I was really disappointed for not being in the lineup, especially because I was in excellent form. I was on fire, and I felt I had to play that game, but I didn't get that chance," the player added,

Speaking about Neymar's arrival and how it affected the team, Di Maria had nothing but kind words for the Brazilian ace, who is currently recovering from an injury to his left foot.

"He's done wonders for the club and for Ligue 1. The league has developed both on and off the pitch, especially due to marketing reasons. He had six great months with us, and let's hope he gets back as soon as possible," Di Maria said.

Following two heart-breaking Round of 16 eliminations in the UEFA Champions League, Di Maria analyzed the team's chances of winning that tournament in the near future.

"In the last couple of years, we've shown we have the right players to win that tournament. Nevertheless, we made mistakes that led to our elimination," Di Maria concluded.
