The player's current behavior towards the team has some members of PSG's backroom staff allegedly wondering when he will ask to leave the club.

With PSG's Ligue 1 victory last week, there's only one more item in Nasser Al-Khelaifi's agenda: solving the Neymar transfer saga.

According to a report by El País, PSG execs are becoming increasingly nervous about their chances of keeping Neymar around beyond this season, since the player has repeatedly failed to show commitment to the team's activities while he recovers from a broken bone to his left foot.

The main goals Nasser Al-Khelaifi, PSG's president, had set for the trip he made to check up on Neymar, ended in complete failure. According to the Spanish newspaper, Al-Khelaifi went to Brazil trying to convince Neymar to end his recovery process in Paris. The player allegedly responded a simple "no" to that request.

His other request had to do with the constant rumors about his future. Al-Khelaifi demanded Neymar to make a statement regarding his commitment to the club. While his father came up to say he saw Neymar's future taking place in the French capital, Neymar's reluctance to be involved in the team's activities (which included celebrating the team's title) are being seen as signs of his desire to leave the club.

While there is no buyout clause that could see Neymar leave PSG, his contract specifically points out September 1 as the date when any club can lure the Brazilian away from the French capital. Nevertheless, there are only a few teams that could afford buying Neymar, with Real Madrid and Manchester United topping that list.

If this report ends up being true, then PSG fans will not be treated to one more game with Neymar on the pitch, as he's scheduled to end his recovery on May 17, two days before Ligue 1's final game for Les Parisiens. Only time will tell if the Brazilian striker will leave the club in the first chance he gets to do so.
