April 14, 2018 will be a day to be remembered by all Barcelona fans, as Los Blaugranas managed to set a new record in the Spanish top flight for most games without a loss.
It's been over a year since Barcelona's most recent defeat, and the thought of watching Barcelona end the season without a loss is more real than ever.
Barcelona's 39-game streak had one added bonus for one of their players, as Marc-André Ter Stegen was the only player to perform in all of those games, also setting a record of his own.
Goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen played in every game during the 39 unbeaten streak, leading the team with 3,510 minutes. Making himself the record holder to play in 39 matches in league without losing a single match in 89 years of league history. #Barça39 pic.twitter.com/3tYnQymwMx

But the German shot-stopper wasn't the only player to set an individual record this weekend in the Spanish top flight, as Antoine Griezmann will be the reference for French footballers playing in La Liga.

Pichichi race
Luis Suárez matched Cristiano Ronaldo's tally in La Liga's top scorers' competition. The Portuguese ace didn't play this weekend, while Lionel Messi had nothing to do with Barcelona's goals against Valencia.
