RB Salzburg shocks Lazio and makes it to the Europa League semis

A goal by Stefan Lainer helped the Austrian side in joining Arsenal, Atlético Madrid and Marseille as the fourth team fighting for the title.

Tonight's highlighs in the UEFA Europa League will not talk about how Arsenal came near to being shocked by CSKA, or how Atlético made it past Sporting despite their baffling display. Today, RB Salzburg stole the show from them , as they will join the final four teams in the competition by beating Lazio 4-1 at home.

Die Bullen made it past the Italian side thanks to a three-goal display in less than five minutes, as Amadou Haidara, Hee-Chan Hwang and Stefan Lainer scored what turned out to be the decisive goals for Oscar García's side.

The Austrian side will have something to brag about after more than 20 years, when they reached the UEFA Cup final against Inter Milan. Now, they will face three of Europe's finest teams iin their quest for their first international title.
