Following their 3-1 loss to Juventus on Wednesday, coach Zinedine Zidane may have to deal with the absences of Luka Modric and Sergio Ramos.
The Croatian midfielder stepped out of the game against the Old Lady limping following a clash against Blaise Matuidi, while the center back could be sanctioned for witnessing the final moments of the game in the tunnel that leads to the pitch while serving a one-match ban.
Modric's injury and its recovery time will be determined on Friday, while Ramos' case will be solved next week. UEFA's delegate at the Bernabeu reported Ramos' presence in the tunnel, and his sanction could go from paying a fine to serving a two-game ban.
Needless to say, these absences could represent a massive blow for Real Madrid's hopes of winning a third straight UEFA Champions League title.
