The creation of the German Bundesliga has worked like a charm for Bayern Munich, as the team has dominated the league like no other side in German football history.
The Bavarian side secured their 27th Bundesliga title, adding only one more before the creation of the current format in the German top flight. Furthermore, Bayern's dominance has extended for six years, one short of the record in Europe's top five leagues.
