The Polish ace scored the first and fourth goals for Bayern during their scintillating 5-goal first half against their bitter rivals.

Robert Lewandowski managed to write his name in Der Klassiker's record books in what could possibly be his last game against Borussia Dortmund with Bayern Munich's shirt.

The Polish ace scored yet another hat-trick for Die Roten against his former club, raising his tally to nine  goals in eight games facing the yellow-and-black side. If that wasn't enough reason to celebrate, Bayern's No.9 can now call himself taller than anyone who played these games, as he is now Der Klassiker's all-time top scorer.

Prior to this game, Lewandowski was one goal behind Gerd Müller in the German rivalry's all-time top scorers' list. As of now, Lewandowski has scored 15 goals in these type of games, surpassing the German legend's tally of 13.

If Lewandowski stays at Bayern Munich, he'll have the chance to become Der Klassiker's all-time top scorer with a single team. Müller scored 13 goals with Bayern, while Lewandowski scored 5 with Dortmund. Will he return to add goals to his tally in Der Klassiker? Only time will tell.
