After claiming he gets no confidence at the Bernabeu, the Spanish ace has been linked with a move to the Premier League.

Isco’s comments after his stellar display in the 6-1 win over Argentina left many feeling the end of his Real Madrid career is near. The playmaker scored a superb hat-trick in Spain’s huge victory but could not hold back his ill feelings toward his situation at the Bernabeu.

While the 25-year-old has been given the chance to shine with the national side, the same cannot be said for Los Blancos. The former Malaga ace continues with his struggle to get more playing time, letting out his frustrations while talking to a reporter after Tuesday’s friendly

“Lopetegui shows me confidence with the minutes he gives me. Maybe I'm the problem in Madrid. I don't know how to win Zidane's confidence," were Isco’s worrying choice of words.

Understandably, it didn’t take too long for the Real Madrid midfielder to be linked with a move away from the reigning Champions League holder. Man City is believed to be preparing a bid for the unsettled Spaniard, but Zidane was quick to pour water over the exit rumors.

Speaking to the media ahead of Los Merengues’ trip to Las Palmas on Saturday, the French tactician addressed the elephant in the room: Isco’s future. According to the World Cup winner, it is too early to be speculating over the player’s departure.

"The problem isn't Isco. The problem is that I have 25 players and can only play 11,” Zizou said in the pre-match press conference, as per Marca.

"I am very happy with Isco. I always look to do things for the good of the team and the good of the players.

"Isco is at Madrid and is going to stay here. It is done. Isco is a player that I like and, what he does, he does well."

Zidane also defended his treatment of the talented midfielder. He might not start matches as often as he prefers, but Zinedine insists that he continues to value the Roja ace.

“I am not unfair to Isco," Zidane told reporters on Friday.

"He is happy, maybe he doesn't have the same role here, but I have shown to him that he is an important player for the team.

"I'm happy for the performance he had against Argentina."
