Things took an ugly turn in the flash zone after France's victory over Russia due to some rude actions by members of the press.

Olivier Giroud displayed his short temper during his flash zone appearance after the Russia vs France match earlier this week, as he threatened to leave an interview due to the appearance of Kylian Mbappé behind him.

Members of the press were distracted by Mbappé's appearance and tried to keep him around for a follow-up interview, but Giroud was annoyed by the reporter's reaction, since he was seemingly answering the question he'd asked moments before.

Giroud threatened to walk away from the interview by asking the journalist if he wanted to have a few word with PSG's star and even left the rest of the reporters hanging. When the journalist realized his mistake, he asked Giroud to stay. The player returned, but he seemed to be disturbed by this incident.

Translation:

Giroud: "What, you want to go talk to him? Go talk to him, I'm leaving" (walks away)

Journalists: "No, no! I'm sorry, I was talking to you..."

Giroud (returning): "Ok, I'll go on"
