ESPN networks will broadcast 31 regular-season MLS matches in the upcoming season and this summer’s MLS All-Star Game scheduled for August 1 in Atlanta.

What are ESPN and ESPN Deportes' 2018 Major League Soccer schedule? 

  • The regular season of the 2018 MLS starts on Sunday, March 4 for viewers of ESPN. Here's a look at their full TV and online streaming schedule: 
  • The Western Conference clash between Seattle Sounders FC and Los Angeles is the first MLS 2018 fixture to watch on ESPN. Kick-off is at 2:00 PM PT/5:00 PM ET.
  • Thirty other games have been picked by the network, with the month of April delivering the highest amount (6) of live match coverage ahead of the months of July (5) and August (5). 
  • In June 2018, the mega network will broadcast three games. Two of those will take place before the commencement of the FIFA World Cup -- the first of which will feature Portland Timbers at home to Los Angeles Galaxy (June 2nd).
  • In total, both ESPN and ESPN Deportes will broadcast 28 matches. ESPN2, meanwhile, will air the other three. 
  • Seattle Sounders, Atlanta United FC, Orlando City SC and Los Angeles FC, all being the finalists of last year’s MLS Cup, will get six of their matches each telecasted on ESPN networks. 
  • For the MLS Rivalry Week, ESPN will feature the game between Orlando City SC and Atlanta United FC and the all-new Los Angeles Derby (LA Galaxy vs. LAFC) at 8 pm and 10 pm respectively on Friday, August 24.
  • Two of the three derby matches between Los Galaxy and Los Angeles FC will be telecasted on ESPN and ESPN Deportes on July 26 and August 24. 
  • 2017 MLS Cup champion Toronto FC will play against 2017’s Eastern Conference playoff teams – Atlanta FC and New York City FC on August 4 and 12, respectively.
  • Winners of the last three Western Conference Championships as well as two of the last three MLS Cups, Portland, and Seattle, will rekindle their existing rivalry by coming up against each other in the Cascadia Cup on May 13. 
  • Another MLS’s top rivalry game will be seen in the Hudson River Derby on May 5 featuring the New York Red Bulls and the New York City FC.
